Wendy Gobeil to wed Richard St. Pierre
Robert E. and Rose Marie Gobeil of Saco announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Ann Gobeil, to Richard Alan St. Pierre, son of Norman and Colleen St. Pierre of Windham.
Miss Gobeil graduated from Thornton Academy, The University of Maine at Farmington, and the University of New England. She is currently employed as a research assistant at the Ringel Institute of Gerontology, University at Albany, N.Y. where she is pursuing a doctorate in social welfare.
Her fiance graduated from Windham High School and the University of Southern Maine. He is employed at L.L.Bean in Portland as an accounting analyst.

SACO - Richard Alan St. Pierre and Wendy Ann Gobeil were married at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church on Feb. 24 at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. Richard St. Cyr.
The bride is the daughter of Robert E. and Rose Marie Gobeil of Saco. The bridegroom is the son of Norman and Colleen St. Pierre of Windham.
Matron of honor was Julie B. Adams of Albany, N.Y. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Robin J. Hinkle of Chesapeake, Va., Michelle L. Bouffard of Norwood, Mass., Trisha L. Reid of Scarborough and Melissa Felix of Standish.
Best man was the bridegroom's brother, Marc N. St. Pierre of Windham. Ushers included Kerry Joyce of Windham, Bruce Wescott of Sidney, Daniel Davis of Fairfax, Va., and Calvin Gillis of Pearland, Texas.
Following a reception at the Elks Lodge, the couple took a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla.
The bride graduated from Thornton Academy, and from the University of Maine, Farmington, with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and from the University of New England with a master's degree in social work. She is studying for her doctorate in social welfare at the University at Albany and is employed by Fair Harbor Residential Services in Portland as a family counselor.
The bridegroom graduated from Windham High School and the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is an assistant accounting manager and CPA for L.L. Bean in Portland. They live in Windham.
