Priscilla Roberts Has Bridal Shower - September 2, 1964

Miss Priscilla Roberts, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest Roberts, 66 Pierson's Lane, Biddeford, was guest of honor at a bridal shower held at the Fremont Club, Alfred Street, Biddeford. A buffet lunch was served by the co-hostesses, Mrs Rose Eva Martin, grandmother, and Mrs Ernest Roberts, mother of the guest of honor.

Miss Roberts will marry Roger Charette, son of Mr and Mrs Gerard Charette, 514 Elm St, Biddeford at a Sept 19 ceremony.

Priscilla Roberts is Married To Roger Charette, USAF

Biddeford - Miss Priscilla Roberts, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest Roberts of Hill St. Saco and Roger Charette USAF son of Mr and Mrs Gerard Charette of Elm St were married Saturday morning in St Andre's Church.

The Bride wore a formal length gown of rose Chantilly lace and carried a bouquet of white carnations centered with a white orchid.

Mrs Robert Lamirande, Lawrence, Mass., was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were the Misses Linda and Nancy Roberts, sisters of the bride. They wore gowns of turquoise and rose brocade.

Gerard Charette was best man for his son. Henry Vallee and Michael Bolduc were ushers.

A reception was held at the Wonderbar Steak House.

The Bride is a graduate of St Joseph's High School and is employed at First National Bank (correction Store) of Biddeford.

The bridegroom, a graduate of St Louis High School, is serving with the U.S. Air Force at Pease Air Force Base, N.H.

The couple will reside at 360 Alfred St.

Miss Roberts is Married To Roger Charette

Miss Priscilla A. Roberts daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest Roberts, 60 Hill St., Saco became the bride of Roger G. Charette, son of Mr and Mrs Gerard Charette, 514 Elm St., Andre's Church, Saturday Sept 19.

Msgr Aime Giguere, pastor officiated at the ceremony and traditional wedding music was played by Mrs Laura Proux organist.

Mrs Conostance Lamirande cousin of the bride of Lawrence, Mass., was matron of honor and serving as bridesmaids were Miss Linda Roberts and Nancy Roberts sisters of the bride of Saco.

Gerard Charette, Biddeford attended his son as best man while Robert Gobeil cousin of the groom and Henry Vallee friend of the groom were ushers.

A reception for approximately 76 guests was held at the Wonderbar Steak House, Biddeford, following the ceremony with Elaine Roberts, another sister of the bride circulating the guest book.

The couple will reside at 360 Alfred St., Biddeford, after Sept 26 following a wedding trip with the bride traveling in a light gray and turquoise suit, patent leather accessories and a white orchid corsage.

Mrs Charette graduated from St Joseph's High School and is employed as an office clerk at the First National Store, Biddeford, while here husband is a graduate of St Louis High School, Biddeford and is serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Pease Air Base, Newington, N.H.
