On 6 Aug 1774, Nicolas Haydel, acting for his mother, Widow Ambroise Haydel, sold a slave named Joseph (27 months) to Joseph, a free Negro, who believes the child to be his son. Therefore, Joseph grants freedom to the child.
On 31 May 1774, Marguerite and her children, namely Christophe, Mathias, Nicolas and Jean Jacques Haydel, acting for themselves and for four other heirs of Ambroise Haydel who are absent, sell a farm 11 arpents wide by the customary depth to Louis Gerard Pellerin (resident of New Orleans). The farm is bounded by the properties of Nicolas and Jean Jacques Haydel. Price was 700 Piastres.
6 May 1776, Marguerite together with Christophe, Nicolas, Mathias and Jean Jacques, sell a farm 11 arpents wide by the customary depth to Antoin Albert for 650 Piastres.
