Theresa Roberts
BIDDEFORD - Theresa Roberts, 84, of Biddeford and formerly of Saco, died Friday, Aug 27 at Southridge Living Center in Biddeford.
She was born in Biddeford on Feb 19, 1926, a daughter of Philippe and Rose Eva Dansereau Martin.
She was educated in Biddeford schools.
She was a homemaker, who enjoyed raising her family.
Her hobbies included knitting and quilting. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church, Good Shepherd Parish in Saco.
She was preceded in death by, Her husband, Ernest Stanley Roberts, on Dec 14, 1993, and two sisters, Annette Giroux and Irene Martin.
She survived by, Two sons, Arthur Roberts and his wife Mary Lou of Languey, Mo. and Sumner Roberts of Kennebunk, four daughters, Priscilla Charette and here husband Roger of Niceville, Fla., Linda Roberts of Forth Walton Beach, Fla., Nancy Hallczuk and her husband Raynald of Arundel and Elaine Maher of Jacksons Springs, N.C., 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
Theresa married Ernest Stanley ROBERTS, son of Robert Leonard ROBERTS and Ruby Emma TOWNSEND, on 26 Apr 1943 in Biddeford, York, ME, USA. (Ernest Stanley ROBERTS was born on 3 Dec 1924 in Biddeford, York, ME, USA, died on 14 Dec 1993 in Portland, Cumberland, ME, USA and was buried in Saco, York, ME, USA.) Mr and Mrs Ernest Roberts celebrates 40th anniversary
SACO - A surprise anniversary party was held for Mr and Mrs Ernest Roberts of Saco at the Harbor Road home in York on Saturday, April 23, in observance of the couple's 40th wedding anniversary.
The party was given by Mr and Mrs Roberts children.
Attending were grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A money tree and numerous other gifts were presented to the honored couple.
