Yvonne Binette
SACO - Yvonne G. Binette, 91, of Market Street, died Sunday at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
She was born April 12, 1908 in Biddeford, a daughter of Adelard and Laura Brunelle Gobeil, and was educated locally.
On April 1, 1929 she married John Binette in Augusta.
She moved to California in 1955 and was employed as a custodian in Los Angeles nursing homes before returning to the local area in 1971.
Mrs. Binette enjoyed traveling. Her husband died in 1972. A daughter, Marie Therese Fizzette, two brothers, Willie and Philip Gobeil, and a granddaughter have also passed away.
Survivors include four brothers, George, Alfred, Arthur and Henri Gobeil, all of Biddeford; four sisters, Alice Bedard of West Newfield,. Anna Neault and Jeanne Richard, both of Biddeford, and Irene Dudevoir of Old Orchard Beach; a granddaughter, three great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
